Most recently I led Engineering, Asset Management, Logistics and the 24/7 AOG Desk at Spairliners, a joint venture of AFI KLM E&M and Lufthansa Technik providing component support for Airbus A380 and Embraer E-Jet operators.
My career started on the shop floor: as a Certified Industrial Master (awarded the Bavarian State Master Prize) before completing two engineering degrees in Germany and the UK. That foundation still shapes how I work – close to operations, data-driven and focused on results that customers can feel.
Through A.R.P. Consulting – named after my initials, Antal René Popp – I support aviation companies as an interim manager and advisor whenever experienced leadership is needed quickly.
Zuletzt habe ich bei Spairliners die Bereiche Engineering, Asset Management, Logistik und den 24/7-AOG-Desk geleitet – einem Joint Venture von AFI KLM E&M und Lufthansa Technik mit Komponenten-Support für Betreiber von Airbus A380 und Embraer E-Jets.
Meine Laufbahn begann in der Praxis: als Geprüfter Industriemeister (ausgezeichnet mit dem Meisterpreis der Bayerischen Staatsregierung), gefolgt von zwei Ingenieurabschlüssen in Deutschland und Großbritannien. Diese Basis prägt bis heute meine Arbeitsweise – nah am operativen Geschäft, datenbasiert und mit Ergebnissen, die Kunden spüren.
Mit A.R.P. Consulting – benannt nach meinen Initialen, Antal René Popp – unterstütze ich Luftfahrtunternehmen als Interim Manager und Berater, wenn erfahrene Führung schnell gebraucht wird.
